Kenya, Day 9 – The Kite and the water

The last day of Kite surfing, i am happy and exited – this is the day i “might” actual Kite. The weather is not ideal, too little wind. It is quite complicated coordinating everything – controlling the Kite without focus, gaining momentum and pushing against the water controlled without pulling the Kite too much.

In the end i manage several short rides, which is not ideal, but still feels great – after all this is the best potential outcome suggested before starting.

While relaxing at the Beach afterwards we book a “Water Safari” to Wasini for the next morning.

Nicolas shows me his new friend when i return.

I find one of myself in my Apartment.

The Safari is supposed to start early, so i get some “Popo”, Mango and Pineapple for Dinner.

What i did not know so, is that “Popo” is Papaya and is…very much suggestive supporting – to say it mildly. Not too long afterwards i feel as if Montezuma decided to punish me himself.
