I wake up early, too early after a night of bad sleep – CBD is not only the City center, but obviously as well where the party starts on Wednesday. Montezuma was not satisfied with his donations. I go to look for a Pharmacy but almost everything is still closed, so it takes a while. I also buy some energy drinks to regain what i lost and get back to bed. Feeling better i raise to the sound of the City getting busy. Time to Explore.

I take an extended walk through CBD and stop at a clothing store where i get replacement for the jeans and belt that don’t fit me anymore. The contrasts are breathtaking: V8 cars and people with nothing, beggars and businessman- and woman. I also find a hairdresser – pretty funny actually: They don’t seem to have more then one being experienced with Mzungo hair, so when i ask for a haircut he hands his customer over to someone else and takes care of me – and he does well.

My lunch date gets closer and i start going there after washing out the cut off hair – we meet at Pronto Restaurant. On the way a begging child is following me awfully long – i want to help him, but don`t want to give money. When i ask where i can get him some food, he suggests candy and then a obviously expensive restaurant – sorry, both not happening. I am a bit early so i order a coffee. When she arrives everything else fades -i am instantly stunned. Her smile, her Aura, her casual and yet elegant look, the electric feeling when we touch.
It’s a Sudanese Restaurant and i didn’t try Camel yet, so i go for the fried one with some greens and Chapati.

It`s an interesting taste, worth testing again, but not for everyday.
After lunch we go to KICC (Kenyatta International Convention Centre) to get a glimpse of the City and honestly it is amazing – there is no direction the City ends – the only “stop” is the National Park, which actually is part of the City. Green spots everywhere throughout so – again not what i expected.

Yes, that are 3 Panorama pictures to capture the round view. There are some guys that seem to record some kind of music Video.
After that she shows me one of her favorite spots in the City, which is John Michuki Memorial Park. Honestly nice, but i am irritated that parks are costing a entrance fee – also Montezuma is asking me for some sacrifice since we left KICC and i try so hard to hold myself together. Time flies and we say goodbye after a coffee close to a Matatu hotspot.

Back at Chester i wonder if i can get a nighttime view of the City as well and when asking the receptionist she asks another employee to bring me up to the roof – we have to switch elevators and climb a little wall to get around.

I book the recommended early morning Safari and go to bed way to late, but happy and exhausted.
