No more gym membership, and I haven’t checked my weight in over a month. Does that mean I’ve stopped progressing? Far from it! During my workation, I discovered an incredible workout spot—hands down, the best I’ve ever had.

I found a hidden gem on the 8th floor of Emeli Hotel on Kipande Road. I brought my own rings and basically set up my “gym” every other day here. Right now, I’m mainly focusing on perfecting my form—check out my progress and see my struggles for yourself:

I know I didn’t post my progress last month, but without a scale or gym log, this is pretty much all I’ve got to show for it.

The reality of losing 40kg in 12 month.

Also the reality of that.

My main goal now is to improve my form and tackle tougher exercises, like a proper L-sit on the rings (no hanging!) and a muscle-up. Those are still a work in progress, but I’m getting there!
